Masskara Festival: Mission Field

Masskara festival 2013

October 20, 2013. Today is the most creative and most colorful day of the “City of Smiles” Bacolod City, as it celebrates the famous Masskara festival. People from other cities and tourists from all over the world are on the streets seeking some fun and enjoying the happy atmosphere. While most people see the festival as an opportunity to party, there are some who sees it as an opportunity to creatively share the gospel through a colorful tract. People however are offended by the message of this gospel tract prepared by Bro. Chris Murray, a missionary to  the Philippines. Since these tracts speak of sin and not of having fun these tracts ended up scattered all over the streets. Why do people throw away these tracts given to them for free? Take time to read. God bless you.

  1. People will always be offended by the gospel, but God’s word always accomplishes the purpose for which it is sent forth.
