Thank you for coming

artist depiction of Christ on the Cross

Jesus, thank you for coming into this world full of sin

For hearing the call of those who need peace within

You lived among us for a while

Where there were tears you brought a smile

You made the lame to walk and gave sight to the blind

Showed us the way in which new hope we could find

Jesus, we owe so much to You

You who know us through and through

You see the darkness within our soul

Guide us with Your Light to carry out Your Kingdom goal

Thank you for coming into this heart of mine

For patience as you do my soul refine

You heard me in my time of abuse

Told me to You I could be of great use

Father, who am I that for me Your one and only Son should die?

I am so far from where I yet should be

I feel inadequate for the call

Put in this searching sinner Your love for all

Give me the strength in my weakness to help me see

The way that You have planned for me

Hear us as we cry out to You

You who see all of us through and through

You who know what we don’t want others to see

The stain of sin that yet lies within me

The new life that comes because of Your death for all

Who would answer the call

To ask for forgiveness for all they have done

That whatever wrong they did do

They can make a fresh start with You

You forgive all that is in our past

Give us the gift that will forever last

The present of Your forever love

The hope that comes from above

The peace we can’t get enough of

That with all the noise around

In calling out to You we can be found

There is not one soul who cannot receive Your love

The unbeliever, addict , prostitute, gambler, convict, the worst of the lot

Can be healed of all their inner rot

If they would but come and say on the Cross new life for me You bought

Thank you, Jesus, for giving Your life

For the comfort You give us in times of strife

Let this our forever song be

You set us captive sinners free

That today, tomorrow and through eternity

We have come from defeat to victory

About Dr. Kevin Osborne B.A., B.Th., M.A., M.Div., Psy.D. Ph.D. and Th.D. Candidate

I enjoy spending time with people just having a coffee or talking about life, philosophy, religion, politics or sharing a favorite joke or story. We learn from one another as we interact and share our joys, challenges and even our times of sadness. I enjoy reading, writing, singing and sharing in the blessing of community whether that is one on one or in groups. I'm married and am powned by two kitties named Sir William of Lounge a.k.a. Sir Lounge a Lot and Princess Catherine of Chaos a.k.a. Her Royal Highness Catherine of Englehart. Two years ago I completed my Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) through St. James the Elder University. On Sept. 26th 2020, I graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from Canadian Christian Theological Seminary. These journeys were started over 20 years ago. In 1997 I received a Bachelor of Theology degree from Canada Christian College & Graduate School. Between working and studying it took 13 years to finish it. Let us pray for and reach out to each other with kindness, love and an embracing compassion. We can working together be servants with two open hands to those in need so that hate, indifference and inequality would lose and love will win. The peace and abounding joy of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
