Have you thanked God for your wife?

man and woman holding hands

Have you thanked God for your wife today?

Spent time in couple devotions

Read the Songs of Solomon to each other

Have you told her how much you love her?

Told her how beautiful she is
How delighted you are with her

See the love in her eyes

Feel her love beating in your heart
Kissed and caressed her

Hugged her tight

Allowed her to nibble on your ear
Told her how much she means to you

Said thank you for being with me

Loving me with all my faults

Offered to make her breakfast

Done something spontaneous to surprise her

Planned a romantic dinner

Given her a gift and said, “That’s for being you.”

Turned off the baseball game to spend quality time

Witnessed to others how wonderful Christian marriage is

We can take the wife God gives us for granted

Assume she knows you love her without saying it

Get so caught up in the demands of life

Balancing work and family

Giving your children the love they need

Failing to spend quality time with her

Getting lost in worldly priorities

Seeking success at the cost of our marriage

Losing our identity to a world of modified morality

God wants so much more for your marriage

Desires you both to grow closer to Him

Have joy

Love life

Treat each moment as a gift from God

Allow God to be in the center of your marriage

Be guided by the Holy Spirit

Embrace each day as if it’s your last

Laugh together

Say you are my best friend, my lover

Take times of sanctuary alone with God

Let Him into your love-making in your prayers

That’s the kind of love that will see you through

That’s the kind of marriage God wants for you
