A child hears the awful news on TV. ISIS has killed more soldiers, more families
People at a Paris sports stadium, concert, shopping, eating at restaurants are murdered
Millions of people are homeless
Fleeing to other countries only to be turned away
Thankful for the countries who accept them
Sickness, death and despair caused by the evil of terrorism
The child cries
He feels helpless until he prays
He asks to be given some way he can help
Then, the answer comes
He donates all of the $13.26 in his piggy bank to a local community fundraiser
He is told all the money will go towards relief efforts, so people affected
by ISIS can get clothes, food and everything they need
The child asks all children in his town to give money in their piggy banks for relief efforts
He challenges all adults there to donate money to help those hurt by terrorists
He takes his piggy bank to every home asking people to help those harmed by terrorists
The child asks these questions in his thoughts. What if all children, teenagers and adults
gave what they could from their piggy banks to help people saddened by terrorism?
Wouldn’t that be a powerful message that love is much more powerful than hate?
There can be a lot of love in a piggy bank
