A sinner saved by grace
Father, please use this heart. It’s all I have. Let it be to others a healing salve. Oh, that others would see Christ’s self living in me – His compassion for suffering humanity! Through abuse, illness and poverty I have been. You accepted me with all my darkness within. You saved me from my path of sin. Your Son died on that rugged cross at Calvary that new life, a new hope we could see, if with all our sin we would only come to Thee. At Calvary did crimson blood flow. It is there in spirit suffering hearts can go. You showed me all that needed to be changed in me, so You could use me to set others free from their prisons of captivity. Lord, teach me what I need to know. Show me the way I should go. I am but a sinner saved by grace. That is who I am. That is who I always shall be. Father, I thank you for the joy of knowing Thee. Amen.
Kevin and Karen Osborne are Christian pastoral counsellors and psychotherapists. We are starting You Can Hope Again Counselling. Karen enjoys doing cross-stitch while I like writing and singing songs. Karen makes me laugh when she sings the kitty bed-time song saying, “It’s that time. It’s the bestest kitty time of the day!” Kevin enjoys teasing the kitties and making them do kitty dances with music. Their kitty, Catherine, loves it when kitty daddeh sings All Creatures Great and Small. Kevin likes doing impressions. He tells children’s stories using his hand puppet, Dr. Teddy.
Our greatest calling is to be servants of our Lord wherever He calls us to go.
