When do two and two make five?

I came to a full stop in my day when I read this quote. “Two and two makes five.” George Orwell 1984.

That is what Russian President Vladimir Putin would have you believe. He seeks to justify the premeditated attack on the people of Ukraine as a “special military project” to protect Russia and the Russian people from Ukraine. That country poses no threat to his.

Please pray every day for the people of Ukraine and our world.

We must unite in sending this tyrant and the rich elite who support him a resounding message. Two and two equals four. Truth is truth. Lies are lies. It will always be that way. President Vladimir Putin is a liar. He leads by deception; he rules with fear.

I appeal to the Russian people, that you are following a man who cares nothing about you. He will plunge your economy into a downward spiral to soothe his wounded ego. He wants the old Russia back. I ask to you to remember what that was like. Did you have a voice in determining your future? Who really had the power?

The harm that Putin is causing to the children in Ukraine and its surrounding countries, will last for a long time. I have seen what trauma can do. It can be your worst nightmare that never stops.

Our special guest on this blog is Dr. Teddy. He has a Ph.D. in child psychology from Teddy Roosevelt University in Tedunsky, Ohio, in the parallel universe of Ted.

Dr. Teddy has special powers such as knowing the thoughts of children, teenagers, adults, and teddy bears. He got them when there was a lab accident after he mixed the chemicals of bearomium and tedrahyydrochloride together. I don’t know what these chemicals are. Dr. Teddy says they can only be found in the parallel universe of Ted.

God sent him to Earth to help people when life gets hard, He helps my wife, Karen, and me, in counseling people.

Dr. Teddy, you have the floor.

“But my dear fellow, I don’t own the floor.” Dr. Kevin smiles.

“”What I meant to say is take it away, Dr. Teddy.”

“I like to tease Dr. Kevin. All in the spirit of fun. Ha. Ha.”

Dr. Teddy speaks to the children of Ukraine.

“Hi kids. How’s it going? Many of you may be thinking you did something awful to be sent away by your parents. You haven’t done anything wrong. They are sending you away to keep you safe.

There is a very bad man who could hurt you if your Mom and Dad don’t get you away from him. His name is Vladimir Putin. I’m sure your parents and grandparents have told you about him. There is something ugly inside of him to hurt children, your parents, grandparents, and everyone he hates. I don’t know why he is this way. There are just some really nasty people in the world. Your parents don’t know how long you will need to be away from your family and friends. The thing to keep in your heart is that your Mom and Dad love you so much!

When you cry about being away from your parents, grandparents, family, and friends, close your eyes. Think about sunflowers. Your teachers have told you they are the national flower of Ukraine. Picture in your mind those yellow and bright flowers stretching to get all the sunshine they can. That is what your parents’ love is like. It is like sunflowers. It is beautiful. Every time you see a sunflower think about how your Mom and Dad’s love for you is so high it reaches way up to the sky. Think about your parents, grandparents, and family hugging you every time you see a sunflower.

Love sometimes means having to do the hard thing. When you get sick your Mom and Dad may give you medicine to help you get better. It’s hard on them when the medicine makes you feel sicker before you feel good again. They have you take the medicine because they love you. That is why many parents are having their children go to live with relatives or in a faraway country. They want to keep you safe from Vladimir Putin. He is a mean man.

Your Mom, Dad, family and friends will miss you a lot. Don’t forget when you go to live somewhere else it makes them sad to be away from you. Some Moms and Dads will be able to come with you, but many won’t. This will be a tough thing for you and them.

I will say a prayer that you will all be together again.”

Dr. Kevin speaks.

“Thank you, Dr, Teddy, for speaking with the children.”

“Glad to do it, Dr. Kevin. I’ve got to go now. Mrs. Teddy is making a yummy breakfast of hotcakes with honey. Sure don’t want to miss that! Cheerio, dear chap.”

Dr. Kevin speaks.

“Could you please have your wife save some hotcakes and honey for me? I’ve only had a bowl of cereal and a coffee. I’m still hungry.”

Dr. Teddy speaks.

“Of course, I will. I’ll drop them by around 9 a.m. Got to get about my day. Lots of people to see in my office who need my help with problems in their lives.”

Dr. Teddy puts on his goggles and cape. He flies in the sky. It’s a faster way to travel than using a car.

Dr. Kevin speaks.

“What Putin and his supporters are doing is evil. This is defined as any act that is thought out which seeks to harm others.

I appeal to writers and bloggers to stand up against Putin with the power of your words. It may not seem like much, but it’s more than you might think.

It‘s better than doing nothing. When we do that evil wins.

When we work together to discipline Putin like we would a bully, evil will lose.”

I’m a sinner saved by grace teaching others about it.
