Karen’s Song

married couple by the ocean

Dear friends,

Even as I struggle by God’s abiding grace to recover from my asthmatic bronchitis, the Lord has allowed me to finally give Karen and all of you what I believe is God’s completed song of the love I have for my wife, Karen.

Darling, I love you with all of my heart next to God. You are the sun in my day and the moon in my night. God’s perfect design was that I would be incomplete without you.

The completed tune for this song that God and I and the team He will bring together will be nothing short of breath-taking. It is the Lord’s song for His kingdom purposes.

Justice, my dear friend and fellow brother in Christ, please help me make Karen’s Song the best it can be for our Lord.

Bring the team together, oh God, that you want to give this song as a gift to many marriages.

The Enemy will not win as long as we keep close to God’s heart. It is my earnest prayer that Karen’s Song will speak to you in your marriage. God can mend broken marriages. No problem in your marriage is insurmountable as long as God remains in the centre of it.

The peace and the abounding joy of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

Karen’s Song

Lord, my darling sees my true self
And yet she still loves me
She is my shield mate
My God-given bride
My God-given bride

She’s my sweet butterfly
She’s grown so close to You
She has come out of her hidden cocoon
Help me to tell everyone how beautiful she is
How beautiful she is

She’s been through the fire
She’s been through our dark trials
She’s seen me in deep pain and sorrow and grief
In loving her, Lord, my soul finds relief
In loving her, Lord, my soul finds relief

Lord, I love her sweet touch
I love her caresses
She touches my spirit
With Your glorious love
Lord, thank you for the wonderful gift that is her
For the wonderful gift that is her

Lord, I hear You calling
And You say to my heart
Please love my sweet child
And call her to Me
Please love my sweet child
And call her to Me
